I am an award-winning video journalist and writer based in New York City and ready to travel.
For ten years, I worked as a Senior Video Journalist at The New York Times.
I wrote, directed, produced, reported, edited, and filmed more than 100 videos and interactive projects on everything from the U.S. Elections to anti-war protests to fashion designers to forgotten American masterworks. I also helped create a number of series like Diary of a Song and Dance in the Real World, that took innovative approaches to telling stories about music and culture today.
My directing work has also appeared in Rolling Stone, Stereogum, and Spin.
I am the director of two documentaries: Bombay Movie (2014) and The Martyrs Were Lucky (unreleased).
In 2008, I served as President Obama’s videographer during the Transition.
I am a graduate of Bard College.
